Female engineers are a rare find globally, and they are not always recognised for their contribution to the engineering industry. This conference seeks to rectify that notion by discussing ways to attract more women to this field and empower them with cross board skills, especially taking into consideration that government plans to spend R215 billion on education and skills development to integrate 30 000 more engineers by 2014.
