Dear Women In Politics,

Over 100 delegates attended the Intelligence Transfer Centre (ITC) 2nd Annual Women In Politics Africa Conference over three days at Gold Reef City.

This objective platform brought together over 12 African Countries.  The fact that the conference is not affiliated to any political party ensures that the conference sets an objective platform for women in power to get together as one and focus on supporting other women in politics or women wanting to enter the arena.

A number of topics were discussed ranging from empowering women to changing the economic status quo of women.

ITC has forwarded a summary document compiled by the chairs to all delegates and relevant authorities.

ITC were honoured to once again have Her Excellency Joice Mujuru, Vice President, REPUBLIC OF ZIMBABWE speaking and for Hon Angelina Motshekga, Minister, Dept of Basic Education opening the conference.  Other neighbouring speakers included: UGANDA, MALAWI, and NAMIBIA.

A special thanks to Farida Mahomed and Caroline Mbi-Njifo who chaired the conference and our media partner AVUSA MEDIA for promoting the conference through extensive newspaper print.

The conference was rated as:
56% Excellent,44 % Good

Best Regards
ITC Team
