The April 2009 deadline for converting of mining rights and application of new rights has come and gone.

While your focus was, on being awarded your mining rights, it is now about how you are going to comply and report on your applications in line with the MPRDA. The only authority that can give you answers on the “prescribed manner for reporting” is the DME. Jacinto Rocha confirmed that the DME will facilitate a full day workshop at this conference to assist mining houses on the way forward for compliance and reporting.
